Are You a Carer?
We take the health and wellbeing of our Carers very seriously - have you seen our Carers information wall located in Dr Vije's waiting area - this gives information on how to access support.
If you are a Carer and you have not informed the practice please inform one of our receptionists or the clinician you are seeing. We will ask you to complete a form with your details, the person you are caring for will also be asked to complete a section of the form (if they are not able to do this please discuss this with the doctor)
There is a wealth of information on NHS Choices about carers and caring. Below are some links into the site that we hope you will find useful.

- Telling people
Caring responsibilities can make it difficult to maintain friendships or develop new ones. Telling your friends you're a carer is important so they understand and can support you.
- Taking a break
Caring for someone can be a full-time job, but it's essential that you take time out for yourself too. Read our guide to accessing breaks and respite.
